Select portion of an MP3 file.

Select your favourite portion of an MP3 file to use as a ringtone. In this example I am using Quicktime to select a portion no longer than 40 seconds in length. I then trim to selection, leaving only the piece I wish to become a ringtone in Quicktime.

Exporting to WAV file.
